Worth Investment Group is pleased to welcome Mr. Michael "Mike" Meadows in a newly created position as Chief Executive Officer to the American Copper & Brass / Curtis Marketing team. With Don Gaier and Scott Smith as Presidents of their respective organizations, Mike will help congeal their operations by seeking and implementing efficiencies in technology, facilities and the sales/distribution model to increase revenues and profitability.
Prior to joining Worth Investment Group, Meadows served as the Senior Vice-President of National Accounts, Marketing & Multi-Family at BlueLinx Corporation, a wholesale building products distributor from 2007 to 2013. Mike was the Regional Vice President of the Mid-South Region at BlueLinx from 2004 to 2007. Prior to working at BlueLinx, Mike was a Regional Vice President with the Distribution Division of Georgia-Pacific Corporation from 2000-2004. He began his professional career with Georgia-Pacific in 1979 and progressed through a variety of assignments with increasing responsibility, including sales, procurement, sales management and operations. He serves on the Foundation Board at the University of Montevallo, is a past Vice Chair of the Manufacturers & Services Council with the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association and was a previous board member of the Northwest Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. Mike earned a BBA, with a concentration in marketing and management, from the Stephens College of Business at the University of Montevallo, and completed the Scheller College of Business Executive Program with a focus on marketing, business strategy, and finance, at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
